It’s Featured Music Friday everyone! Today I am featuring an outstanding song, “Your One” by singer/songwriter Avonlea. This was a song that started out entirely from Avonlea writing the song, singing it and playing piano. Her and her partner Erik Isaacs brought me the demo, to which I built the whole track around. I wanted to go for a 50’s vibe in the musical arrangement but give it a modern twist. The song recently won first place at the International Songwriting Competition- Teen Category.
